Badly Overdue Post: Memphis March 2010

This new blogging platform is so friendly I am going to get around to posting some historical stuff too!  In March, Sam and Ally (and mom and dad) took a trip to Memphis to visit Grandma and Grandpa.  Now, whenever we hear a plane, Sam says "Like Sam's airplane!  Like going to see Grandma and Grandpa."

We started with a beautiful lunch with the prayer group at Grandma's church that meets to pray for Sam.  They sure do good work, don't they?  A very neat group of ladies, and we really enjoyed seeing them.

Sam received lots of birthday presents, of course, and we took a wonderful trip to the zoo.  The highlights were the pandas and the polar bears, which have a really awesome enclosure in which you can see them swimming through a thick Plex wall.  Sam laughed out loud a the pandas, so much so that people were watching her instead of the animals.  And she wanted to walk EVERYWHERE.  An awesome outcome, since it was only a week after her March seizure.  Life is good.
