The Month that Wasn't

I will deny that I actually went a month without posting to this blog.  Not true.  I simply lost 30 days of time in a bizarre, multi-dimensional, alternate-universe episode of my life.  I didn't watch every episode of Star Trek ever taped without learning how that works.

This 30 days featured:
  • A wonderful weekend in which my parents watched our kids, while Ally got the stomach flu and threw up all weekend and hubby and I luxuriated in a local hotel, oblivious to it all.  I LOVE YOU GUYS!
  • A rough come-down in which Sam and I got the stomach flu.  Worst ever.  Ever.  Worse even than last New Years Eve, which was the worst ever before that.
  • A terrible offshoot in which my mother also got the worst ever flu, and had an even harder recovery.  I LOVE YOU GUYS!
  • A missed visit by Papa and Mimi (we are so sorry, hope to reschedule soon) due to the toxic, germ-ridden environment we called home
  • 2 trips by hubby to exotic locales (ok, not really, but they seemed exotic when I was surrounded by sick kids)
  • Marketing launch for a new client (http://www.secretsleeves.com/)
  • A computer crash
  • 2 children with salmonella, while hubby was in aforementioned locales
  • A fantastic visit from Auntie Caroline and Uncle Barry, whom the girls love immensely.
  • Thanksgiving with Farmor and Papa G.  Farmor was AMAZING and did almost all of the cooking, and both entertained the kids so we could relax a bit.  The girls are still looking for you.  Ally woke up yesterday from nap and her first words were "Papa G... can't get no..."  :-)
I hear alternate universe mommy took some pictures.  I'll start posting when I figure out how this computer works.
