My Little Princesses

For the past few years, Sam's been sleeping on a mattress on the floor.  Recently, she has be come sufficiently comfortable with her standing and climbing ability that we decided she could choose a "real" bed.  I took her to Rooms to Go for a special Sam and Mommy shopping day.

I had in mind a nice, basic, white, wooden bed, similar to her sister's.  Once I saw her eyes light up when she saw this one, though, I couldn't do anything other than say yes.

Both of the girls are crazy about it.  Sam likes to snuggle up in it and close the curtains against the world.  Ally likes to grab the edges of the canopy, shake them, and yell "Yah!  Yah!," pretending she's driving the horses on a runaway carriage.

Having the princess bed arrive really stole the thunder from Ally's new bedside table, which I was very pleased to find as well.
