Ally's 2 y/o stats

Alexa's 2 year old pediatrician visit went pretty well.  She weighs 26 lbs, is 38 inches tall, with a head circumference of 49 cm.

I am not sure which measurement is off, but this would officially make her an inch taller than Sam's last measurement, which doesn't seem quite right to me.   So hold for an update at some point here.

Ally is now on weight watch.  Sigh.  She's been losing weight since the fall, mostly due to illness, so now we are to fatten her up with Pediasure or some other supplement.  Has anyone ever actually succeeded in getting a child to drink Pediasure?  I have bought countless bottles in countless flavors and my kids take about three sips before saying "BLEH!".

  1. Try it super cold, or maybe even partly frozen. I'd also try straight-up ice cream, if it's okay with her health provider. Other ideas--smoothies made with whole milk/ice cream? (and provided you have no lactose issues. I can't remember.) Just some thoughts from a dietitian friend. Love your new look!
